El modulador doméstico EN-106 permite enviar a un televisor en formato DVB-T (Televisión Digital Terrestre) señal de audio / vídeo de un receptor de TV satélite, cámaras de circuito cerrado CCTV, vídeo reproductores etc.
La programación del modulador EN-106 es muy sencilla a través del teclado y el display. También se dispone de conexión al PC a través de USB.
El EN-106 incluye un combinador de RF con el que es posible añadir fácilmente el canal modulado de las señales de antena existentes. Es un combinador pasivo que trabaja incluso si el modulador está apagado. Este puede también ser usado en serie con otros moduladores EN-106 así como cualquier otro tipo de señales RF de modo que el número de canales en el cable coaxial del sistema SMATV se puede aumentar según se desee.
